Autumn is a great time of year to explore, discover and create in nature!
Tuesday 25th 10.30-12.00 Awesome Autumn (all ages)
Explore the woodland finding out about the hidden life of plants and animals and how they are preparing for winter. Make a selection of insect hotels to take home and put in your garden.
Tuesday 25th 1.00-3.00 Wild Woods Challenge (Over 8’s)
Take part in a wild walk through the woodland and experience challenges and games along the way. Finish with a wild winter shelter building competition.
Wednesday 26th 10.30-12.00 Nature Detectives (all ages)
Be real science detectives and understand the feasting habits of owls through owl pellet dissection. Learn how to protect birds through the winter and make a bird feeder to take home.
SESSION FULL Thursday 27th 10.30-12.00 Explore and Create (all ages)
Enjoy an Autumn craft session using natural materials to make elder wands, leaf crowns, elder jewellery, acorn owls, clay creatures and more.
Children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult.
All sessions are FREE and are run by Julie Lloyd-Evans of Learning Without Walls
